Angelina Baldino
Undergraduate degree: BHSc in Biochemistry - Biomedical Research at McMaster University
Angelina joined the lab for an MSc in September of 2024. She has since transferred to the PhD program and published a first author paper in the Journal of Virology in 2025. Angelina studies the evolution of HIV-1 accessory proteins and their contribution to the pathogenicity of SIV and HIV infections.
Fun fact(s): Angelina has a french bulldog named Gigi!
